Corpse Pose
John Doe

This pose is great for relaxation and allows you to focus on your breathing. Additionally, all parts of your body are supported, providing for a feeling of comfort and restoration, which can reduce stress levels.

  1. Get a yoga mat or a cushion and find a space that is comfortable and big enough for you to lay down in, fully extended
  2. Lie flat on your back with your feet separated a little wider than your hips
  3. Allow your toes to turn sideways
  4. Position your arms flat on the floor, next to your body at a 45 degree angle
  5. Make sure your neck, back, shoulders and spine are all aligned and straight
  6. Breathe deeply through your diaphragm and let your body relax. Stay in this position for 10-20 minutes
  7. Doing this outdoors, in the sun can provide for even more relaxation and stress-relieving effects
